About me

Even before the first word, curiosity was already what moved me. That curiosity makes me always want to know more about subjects, it makes me research everything there is to know about that subject and that is the process that precedes my writing.

I have always been obstinate, I never give up on something I really want. 

​

Since I was a little girl I always wanted to be a journalist, because I believed it was the right profession for those who are curious and never give up.

​

Even though my family had meagre resources, I never gave up on that goal. I started working at the age of 16 in temporary jobs to help pay for my studies. My first job was in what was then the oldest café in Espinho, in the newspaper and magazine kiosk. I also worked a few summers in a factory and a in shoe shop.

​

I became a journalist in 2002. In 2005, after the newspaper I was working for closed down, I started working in communication agencies. Until today. As I have always worked in small agencies, I have a broad and multidisciplinary vision of communication and a focus on the specific needs of each client. Although press consultancy is the core of my work, I have developed content for corporate and editorial projects.

I am currently attending the specialised course in Digital Marketing at Lisbon Digital School.

​

Besides all this, I'm a simple, empathetic person who loves the sun, nature and animals. I have three of my own. Two cats and a dog, my Juca, my best friend and adventure companion.
